set up a high quality photobooth
with a digital SLR camera, a touch screen, and the free SLR booth APP
To set up a simple photobooth with your digital SLR camera and an Android touchscreen device, you’ll need*:
digital SLR camera that supports digital live view (Canon or Nikon)
Android tablet running Android 4.1 or higher
USB On-The-Go (USB-OTG) cable
USB cable to connect to your camera
tablet clamp
tripod

Start by attaching the tablet clamp to the tripod, and secure it with a zip tie.
Now, attach the USB cable into your camera.
Place the camera on the tripod and secure it.
Connect your USB-OTG cable to your tablet.
Place the tablet into the tablet clamp.
Turn on your camera.
First, launch the app on your tablet.
A live preview will show right away, and you can take your first picture by touching the camera icon.
The countdown will start, and the shutter will fire. Note: you can change the countdown settings in the SETTINGS menu.
You’ve got several options for sharing this picture - you can print it, email it to yourself or others, send it by SMS (text), or upload it to your Facebook or Instagram account (due to Facebook’s recent changes, we can no longer support direct uploads from the app).
